We remember our Grandmothers carefully unpacking their most prized porcelain plates and bowls for Rosh HaShanah or Passover, then just as carefully bundling them back up For Safe Keeping after the festival was over. We think that Granny Sonia and Edith (may their memories be a blessing) would have a hard time parting with artist Jane Tivol's gorgeous Klimt-inspired seder plates or Janine Sopp's Mediterranean-inspired ceramics.
